NBCUniversal and CNBC hosted the inaugural CONVERGE LIVE summit in Singapore, gathering over 700 influential business leaders, investors, and visionaries from around the globe. In partnership with the host country, Singapore, this two-day event aimed to ignite innovation, foster leadership, and drive global collaboration across industries.

The opening session, hosted by CNBC’s Sara Eisen, saw Ray Dalio, CEO of Bridgewater Associates, and Marc Benioff, CEO and Co-Founder of Salesforce, emphasize the importance of education and a skilled workforce. Dalio notably stated, “If you want a great country, educate your children well, and make them capable of earning money.” Both leaders highlighted Singapore’s strong governance as a key factor in their decision to invest in the region, with Benioff announcing a significant $1 billion commitment over the next five years to advance AI innovation in Singapore.
