CNBC and NBCUniversal returned to Davos, Switzerland for the annual global financial conference, the World Economic Forum, on Monday, January 20 – Friday, January 24. 

CNBC anchors and reporters from across the globe spoke with high-profile business and political leaders who gathered for this year’s Forum, diving into key topics including geopolitical shocks, the AI revolution, the Trump administration and the potential impact of tariffs, energy transition, among others.  

NBCUniversal’s Advertising & Partnerships team partnered with the CNBC editorial team to produce a thoughtfully curated schedule of panels and fireside chats at The Stagwell Clubhouse at the Sanctuary to address this year’s theme of ‘Collaboration for the Intelligent Age.’ Open to the public throughout the week, CNBC anchors and reporters Tania Bryer, Steve Sedgwick, Diana Olick and Arjun Kharpal sat down for insightful conversations with business, tech, and cultural leaders, including Partner, Authentic Brands Group; Co-Owner, Inter Miami CF David Beckham, Founder of SkyBridge Capital Anthony Scaramucci, CEO of McLaren Racing Zak Brown, and McLaren Formula 1 Team driver Lando Norris, and Olympic Champion and entrepreneur Tom Daley.   

CNBC's On The Ground Coverage at World Economic Forum

CNBC’s Andrew Ross Sorkin and Sara Eisen broadcasted live from Davos, Switzerland on Tuesday, January 21 – Thursday, January 23. The anchors sat down with an array of CEOs, prominent investors, business leaders and other officials including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, JPMorgan Chase Chairman & CEO Jamie Dimon, Crowdstrike CEO & Co-Founder George Kurtz, Bridgewater Associates Founder Ray Dalio, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, and others to discuss the global landscape, crypto, the Trump administration, among other crucial topics. On the digital side, CNBC.com Media Reporter Alex Sherman was also on the ground talking to notable business leaders and executives.  

Karen Tso, Steve Sedgwick, and Dan Murphy anchored CNBC International’s “Squawk Box Europe” and “Street Signs Europe” live from the snow-capped mountains. European competitiveness, trade tariffs, monetary policy, and AI were high on the agenda as the team spoke with Heads of States and policymakers from across Europe and the Middle East, and global CEOs and industry leaders. Guests included European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Commissioner for Economy for the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis, German Finance Minister Jörg Kukies, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Zurich Insurance CEO Mario Greco, and CEO of Novartis Vas Narasimhan.

CNBC and NBCUniversal Events at World Economic Forum

CNBC President KC Sullivan hosted an intimate dinner and engaging discussion with CNBC “Squawk Box” anchor Andrew Ross Sorkin and top executives from tech, banking and retail at Willy’s Bar on Wednesday, January 22.  

NBCUniversal’s Advertising & Partnerships team hosted over 200 business and industry leaders across the week in the CNBC private dining suite, for engaging and insightful discussions on key themes coming out of this year’s WEF Annual Meeting, led by CNBC anchors and reporters. 

CNBC partnered with Financial Times to host the FT CNBC Nightcap 2025 event with CNBC President KC Sullivan and FT CEO John Ridding on Wednesday, January 22 at the CNBC Lounge in the Belvedere hotel.
