As Hispanic Heritage Month steps into the spotlight this week, Telemundo and NBCUniversal are marking the occasion with an invigorating new campaign, “Celebrating All That We Are” (Celebrando Todo Lo Que Somos), designed to illuminate the vibrant and diverse tapestry of the Hispanic community through a monthlong celebration of activations, special content, and captivating programming across platforms.
Telemundo Enterprises is at the forefront of this year’s bilingual campaign, “Celebrating All That We Are” (Celebrando Todo Lo Que Somos), a bold multiplatform initiative that pays tribute to the rich and multifaceted identities of U.S. Hispanics. For the fourth year running, this campaign will unite NBCUniversal’s extensive network of channels and social media platforms, showcasing the dynamic stories and contributions of over 62 million Hispanics nationwide. This initiative will culminate in a powerful call to action, inviting Hispanics nationwide to share their personal stories and proudly join in celebrating their heritage. Additionally, the campaign will feature social media spots with special appearances by notable Latino figures from the entertainment and news industries, showcasing the diverse and vibrant nature of the Hispanic community, including:
- Actor, author, and “Access Hollywood” host Mario Lopez.
- Stars from NBC comedies including Mayan Lopez from “Lopez vs. Lopez” and Belissa Escobedo and Pablo Castelblanco of the new series “Happy’s Place.”
- Prominent journalists including Noticias Telemundo news anchors Julio Vaqueiro, Arantxa Loizaga and Vanessa Hauc, MSNBC’s Ana Cabrera, Alicia Menendez and José Díaz-Balart
- The stars of Telemundo’s new primetime series “Sed de Venganza,”Isabella Castillo and Danilo Carrera.
- Latino athletes including US National Team soccer players Alyssa Thompson and Benjamin Cremaschi.
- The hosts of various hit Telemundo shows: Chikybombom and Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza (“Hoy Día”), Lourdes Stephen and Jessica Carrillo (“Al Rojo Vivo”), Carlos Adyan (“En Casa con Telemundo”) and Giselle Blondet and Myrka Dellanos (“La Mesa Caliente”).
- The campaign will also highlight a message from Academy award-winning actress and Hispanic Heritage Month ally Lupita Nyong’o.
The celebration kicks off on Monday, September 16th, with a vibrant anthem spot airing during Telemundo’s morning show “Hoy Día,” followed by an NBCUniversal portfolio social media roadblock. The excitement continues as the anthem spot makes its debut on “TODAY” the following day, September 17th. Telemundo.com/HerenciaHispana will be the home for all “Celebrating All That We Are” themed content in Spanish and English.

And, NBCUniversal has more exciting things on the horizon as it teams up with additional brand partners to deliver unique content experiences in some of this year's most anticipated events, including the 2024 Premios Billboard Latin Music Awards and Miss Universe on Telemundo.

Telemundo Highlights
- Telemundo will spotlight national Hispanic Heritage celebrations through its entertainment and news programming, showcasing the rich contributions, culture, and diversity of the Hispanic community. This includes original digital content series like Como se Dice (‘How do you say that’) featuring beloved talent, as well as digital and social extensions of “La Mesa Caliente” and “Al Rojo Vivo” that delve into the Hispanic experience and inspire Latinos.
- Telemundo Deportes shows and digital properties will profile Hispanic American athletes and commemorative games throughout the month including the 2024 Paris Olympics and Premier League.
- In partnership with Axios, Telemundo co-hosted the third annual Axios Latino Visionarios event celebrating the contributions of Latinos. This year’s event was held September 5th in Los Angeles and included deep-dive interviews with prominent Latino newsmakers across entertainment, policy and culture.
- Special celebration with the National Women’s History Museum to celebrate the release of the Celia Cruz commemorative coin.
- Telemundo’s award-winning, corporate social responsibility program “El Poder en Ti” will curate an exclusive digital series showcasing Hispanic leaders sharing “All That They Are.”
NBCUniversal Highlights
- NBC NEWS & MSNBC: NBC News and MSNBC will spotlight Hispanic Heritage stories across “TODAY,” “NBC Nightly News “and MSNBC, as well as NBC News NOW and NBCNews.com. TODAY will feature special guest, actress Eva Longoria, who will shine a light on Hispanic small businesses, among other segments and features across “TODAY” and TODAY.com. “NBC Nightly News” with Lester Holt will showcase ballerina Evelyn Cisneros-Legate and The Blackwell School, America’s newest national park dedicated to modern Latino history. As part of the digital focus, NBC Latino will publish its “Latino 10” list, celebrating 10 standout U.S. Latinos of 2024, while NBC News NOW’s “Top Story with Tom Llamas” will include a special focus during its daily “The Americas” segment.
- NBC Sports: NBC Sports celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with a special golf programming lineup. Highlights include Lizette Salas’s journey from humble beginnings to LPGA Tour success, a feature on Laz Flores, a Mexican immigrant and golf course superintendent, and the story of resilience from Colombian golfer Camilo Villegas, who overcame personal tragedy. Additionally, a documentary on Puerto Rican golf legend Chi Chi Rodriguez will air, honoring his significant contributions to the sport.
- CNBC: CNBC will feature coverage across the network, CNBC.com, CNBC Make It, and CNBC en Español, including segments such as “Tu Dinero Es Tu Futuro” focused on the biggest financial issues affecting the Hispanic community.
- Peacock: This year, Peacock will spotlight multiple designated rails including "Nuestras Voces" and "Our Stories, Our Voices" that will highlight content created by and starring Hispanic talent. Additionally, the platform will spotlight its Telemundo hub of the network’s hit series and news programs.
- NBCUniversal Local: The NBC- and Telemundo-owned stations will deliver Hispanic Heritage Month content across their television, streaming and digital platforms, highlighted by Hispanic Heritage-themed vignettes, promos, segments and special programs – including live shows and feature programs on the Telemundo and NBC streaming news channels covering events, news and storylines from their markets. Several stations will also host events and activations in their local communities.
- NBCU Academy will feature a module hosted by Telemundo Station Group President José Cancela titled Leadership Lessons with José Cancela. He shares his career journey, discusses the biggest challenge he's faced as a leader, and emphasizes the importance of adopting a leadership mindset from day one.
