On Monday, May 13, NBCUniversal held its 2024 Upfront presentation at Radio City Music Hall.

Leaders from across our company including Mark Marshall (Chairman, NBCUniversal Global Advertising & Partnerships), Mark Lazarus (Chairman, NBCUniversal Media Group), Donna Langley (Chairman, NBCUniversal Studio Group & Chief Content Officer), and Cesar Conde (Chairman, NBCUniversal News Group), came together to demonstrate how NBCUniversal’s premium content evokes emotion, fosters human connection, and informs culture.

With such a robust portfolio of News, Sports, Entertainment, Film, Theme Parks, English and Spanish language and more, NBCUniversal illustrated how its portfolio reaches a vast range of audiences across all platforms.

NBCUniversal’s Upfront began with a live orchestra rising out of the Radio City Music Hall pit, taking audiences through a journey of some of television’s and film’s greatest theme songs and scores. From there, Jimmy Fallon took the reins and gave an overview of what the Upfronts are through a parody of Beyonce’s “Texas Hold ‘Em.”

Throughout the presentation, big names dropped by to announce NBCU’s upcoming content including Kevin Hart and Taraji P. Henson for Peacock’s new series “Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist;” Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé announced they will be joining Season 26 of “The Voice” as coaches; and Kenan Thompson, Bowen Yang and Heidi Gardner teased “Saturday Night Live’s” upcoming 50th anniversary special in February. Plus, Snoop Dogg, Thompson, Hart and Mike Tirico got fans excited for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games this summer. Live performances continued throughout the presentation from Michael Bublé, Seth Meyers’, and Kelly Clarkson.

To showcase NBCUniversal’s upcoming content slate, audiences were given a first look at trailers and never before seen clips. Plus, NBCUniversal's Upfront attendees received the world's first official glimpse at the trailer for the highly anticipated, musical film, “Wicked” before it was publicly released.

“Over many decades, NBCUniversal has provided a home for incredible storytellers who shape how we see the world.  We have the unique ability to bring stories forward, and by doing that, giving voice to visionary artists with something to say.” - Donna Langley, Chairman, NBCUniversal Studio Group & Chief Content Officer

Closing out the session, Mark Marshall took the stage to share why NBCUniversal is the destination for marketers to maximize their media investments. He also unveiled results from the company’s One Platform Total Audience offering announced earlier this year,. Since launch, One Platform Total Audience has delivered a +38% higher in-target cross-platform reach, a +22% increase in search volume and drove a 38% increase in sales for various beta partners.
