NBCUniversal's extensive coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, presented by Toyota, set numerous U.S. viewership records, reaching an unprecedented 15.4 million total viewers across NBC, Peacock, USA Network, CNBC, and Telemundo during the 12-day event from August 28 to September 8. This included the second most-watched Paralympic Games telecast ever and the most-watched Paralympics cable telecast in history.

From collaborating with top talent and executives in Paris to creating viral social media moments, these exceptional 2024 Olympic interns were truly instrumental in the success of the Games.

Mallory interned as a Paralympic runner, serving a vital role as a liaison between various Paralympic sporting venues. In this dynamic position, she managed a wide range of responsibilities, from handling errands and deliveries across Paris to providing invaluable support to the staff. Each day brought new challenges and experiences, making her role both unpredictable and rewarding.

Victoria, NBC Sports - Social Media Marketing Intern

Victoria's internship focused on capturing the most impactful Paralympic moments, creating engaging social media content that resonated with audiences. Working closely with a camera and audio crew, she had front-row access to the competitions, allowing her to witness and document unforgettable moments alongside the families of Paralympians, providing a unique and heartfelt perspective.

Lydia, NBC Sports - Operations Runner Intern

Lydia was stationed at the Paris La Défense Arena, working as a runner for Paralympic swimming. Each morning, she began her day with a visit to the International Broadcast Center (IBC) to check in with her crew and prepare for the events ahead. One of Lydia's most memorable experiences was watching Ali Truwit's competition from the stands, then escorting Ali's family and friends to reunite with her afterward. Reflecting on her journey, Lydia shared, "I'm so lucky to be a part of this incredible experience."
