Celebrating 10 Years of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’
NBC will celebrate a decade of Jimmy Fallon with a two-hour anniversary show on May at 9pm ET. The show will feature the best moments of ‘The Tonight Show’ from the past 10 years featuring favorite sketches, guest and musical performances. The special will stream the next day on Peacock.
“From ‘Saturday Night Live’ to ‘Late Night’ to ‘The Tonight Show,’ Jimmy Fallon stands as one of the greatest performers across NBC’s rich history,” said Mark Lazarus, chairman, NBCUniversal Media Group, in a statement. “Over the past 10 years, Jimmy has broadened ‘The Tonight Show’ with his signature brand of humor and continues to deliver laughs to millions of people night after night. We couldn’t be prouder that this iconic NBC show bears Jimmy’s name.”
Since ‘The Tonight Show’ made its national debut back in 1954, there have been six hosts: Steve Allen, Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, and Fallon.
’The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ airs Mondays through Fridays from 11:35 p.m.-12:35 a.m. ET/PT on NBC and is available on demand on Peacock.
Celebrating 10 Years of ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’
Seth Meyers celebrated 10 years as the host of 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' on February 26 with his inaugural guests from 2014, Amy Poehler and then Vice President Joe Biden.
In the past decade, Meyers has launched fan favorite segments including “A Closer Look,”, “Seth Goes Day Drinking” and his digital series, “Corrections,” where Meyers responds to YouTube comments pointing out his mistakes.
