Interim President, MSNBC
Rebecca Kutler is the interim President of MSNBC, a top destination for breaking news, in-depth analysis, and informed perspectives across cable, audio, and digital media.
Previously, Kutler served as Senior Vice President of Content Strategy for the network, where she oversaw all of the brand’s non-linear business units, including podcasts, films, live events, and digital products. Before that, Kutler oversaw MSNBC’s dayside programming and is responsible for developing and launching several of the network’s marquee programs, including “Inside with Jen Psaki” and “The Weekend.”
Prior to joining MSNBC, she served as the Senior Vice President at CNN. In 2012, Kutler received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Coverage for her work as a Senior Producer on CNN’s “Election Night in America” coverage. She has also received two Peabody Awards and two duPont-Columbia Awards for her work at CNN.
A mother of three, Kutler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication from The George Washington University and a Master of Arts in Journalism from Columbia University.
