NBC Sets Fall Premiere Dates for 2025-2026 Season

NBC’s Fall 2025–2026 slate includes 'The Voice', 'Brilliant Minds', 'Law & Order', 'America's Got Talent', 'On Brand with Jimmy Fallon', 'Saturday Night Live', 'St. Denis Medical', 'Happy’s Place', with next-day streaming on Peacock, plus NBA on NBC tip off.

NBC will begin the 2025-26 season the week of Sept. 22 with a robust programming lineup that will feature the latest iteration of the iconic musical competition series The Voice, the return of the compelling Zachary Quinto drama series Brilliant Minds, the venerable Law & Order franchise, and the finale of summer’s #1 show, America’s Got Talent.

The Sept. 22 season premiere of The Voice will feature the all-star coaching panel of Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, and Snoop Dogg.

This time around, Carson Daly will hold a new power he’s never had before as The Voice’s longtime host. Thanks to a new rule change called the Carson Callback, Daly will get to have a say in which Artists move through the competition.  

“Sometimes I see great singers fall through the cracks,” Daly says in a sneak peek at The Voice Season 28. “And I've never been able to do anything about it – until now.”

The exact details of the new Carson Callback rule have yet to be revealed, but it's sure to shake things up in the best way possible.

On Wednesday, Oct. 1, fan-favorite #OneChicago is back with all-new tales from the Windy City and its incredible first responders. After the premiere of the One Chicago series, new episodes of Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago P.D. will air on Wednesday nights on NBC. Chicago Med kicks off the Windy City charge at 8/9c, with new episodes of Chicago Fire following at 9/8c, and Chicago P.D. finishing off the night at 10/9c. 

New One Chicago episodes are also available to stream the day after they air on Peacock.

That same week marks the launch of the highly anticipated new unscripted series On Brand with Jimmy Fallon, which will make its debut with a twice-weekly cadence on Tuesdays and Fridays.

NBC’s hit comedies St. Denis Medical and Happy’s Place will both start their sophomore campaigns the week of Nov. 3 with back-to-back airings of St. Denis Medical on Mondays and Happy’s Place on Fridays.

The cast includes, Zachary Quinto, Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Teddy Sears, Donna Murphy, John Clarence Stewart, Brian Altemus and Al Calderon.
Season 2 of Brilliant Minds premieres Monday, September 22 at 10/9c on NBC and streaming on Peacock.

Also on the sports calendar, the highly anticipated return of the NBA to NBC begins Tuesday, Oct. 21, starting with the hourlong pregame show at 6:30 p.m. For the first time in more than two decades, the NBA is back on NBC -- and making its Peacock debut -- with 100 regular-season games across three marquee nights of the week: Sunday Night Basketball, beginning Feb. 1, 2026; Peacock NBA Monday, debuting Oct. 27; and Coast 2 Coast Tuesday, premiering Oct. 28. NBC Sports’ 2025-26 NBA slate begins with an NBA Tip-Off doubleheader on Tuesday, Oct. 21, and also features the NBA Mexico City Game 2025, the first-ever quadrupleheader on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, All-Star Weekend, and comprehensive playoff coverage.

More on NBC's Fall Schedule

As previously announced, NBC will begin the holiday season on Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT with a two-hour Wicked special that will feature musical performances from stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, and other surprises guests. The specials will serve as a celebration ahead of the highly anticipated Universal film Wicked: For Good, which will open in theaters on Nov. 21. 

Plus, premiering on Nov. 7, NBC’s new cheerleading comedy Stumble will air Fridays following Happy’s Place. 

The returning drama The Hunting Party and newly ordered comedy series The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins will be added to the 2025-26 schedule at a later date.  

The beloved entertainment news show Access Hollywood will air a special breaking down all the exciting things coming to NBC this fall. NBC Fall Preview Presented by Access Hollywood premieres Tuesday, September 16 at 10/9c on NBC.
